Laboratory Director  (02/02/2012)

Cloud County Health Center, a 25 bed critical access hospital in Concordia, KS is currently seeking to fill the position of Laboratory Director.  The laboratory director is accountable for the overall operation of the laboratory and phlebotomy services.

The director is responsible for establishing and maintaining stable clinical workflow processes with other hospital staff and providers.  Ensures compliance to all regulatory requirements including the acquisition, development, training, and retention of qualified personnel.

Implementation of the goals and objectives of the laboratory requiring budgeting, planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, improving quality and evaluating personnel to achieve expected outcomes.  Also, competently fulfills the duties of a Registered Medical Technologist sharing in the Call/weekend rotations.

Interested applicants must have a Bachelors degree, a minimum of 5 yrs experience in Chemistry, Immunochemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Urinalysis, Blood Banking and Microbiology.  Previous supervisory experience is highly preferred.
